1949 Chevrolet 3100 Additional Info:
The Chevrolet 3100 pickup has gained in popularity and value at a staggering pace the last few years. This streetrodded version is sure to make anyone a fan. Why This Car Is Special This truck has a great build with every nut and bolt being rebuilt, replaced or restored. It has been streetrodded with a V8 and modern amenities but retains that classic look everyone loves. Mechanical A GM Goodwrench crate 350 V8 engine has been installed with an Endurashine Edelbrock intake, 4-barrel carburetor with electric choke, HEI ignition, ceramic coated shorty headers and dress up kit. The truck has power rack and pinion steering with power disc brakes in the front. It has an aluminum radiator with electric fan to keep it cool and a lot of chrome and polished parts under the hood. The brake booster and master cylinder are polished and the alternator is chrome. The front end is more modern with tubular control arms and coil springs with shocks and a 12-bolt rear end. Interior The interior is restored in gray cloth with a tilt column with a billet steering wheel. The AC controls and vents are in a nice panel under the dash that looks clean and keeps the controls right at your fingertips. The interior is comfortable and clean with matching cloth on the door panels and vinyl flooring that looks nice and is easy to clean. Exterior This 49 Chevrolet 3-window pickup has a great look with just enough chrome and a modern touch with the wheels. Chrome American Racing wheels wrapped in raised white letter radial tires really set this truck off. The dual chrome exhaust tips sticking out the back let everyone know this isn't your grandfather's pickup truck. The wood in the bed is new along with the polished strips between them. A metal box has been painted to match the truck and installed in the bed for extra storage. It locks to keep your possessions safe at car shows. Conclusion Take a good look at the photos of this truck and you will see the time, money and quality of parts that were used on this build. You would not be able to replicate this build for near the asking price. So, please call or text at 734-323-9260 or 727-688-1148. We also finance!
