1969 Chevrolet Blazer custom Additional Info:
1969 CHEVROLET K5 BLAZER 2WD CUSTOM!!
Have other priorities right now so up for auction or buy now is this 2wd 1969 Chevrolet K5 Blazer that I purchased out of southern California a while ago. That's right it's a 1969! First year for the K5 Blazer, but they did not produce 2wd yet. The 2wd version did not come into production until 1970. This is a very solid 1969 K5 4wd body bolted to a factory 1970 2wd Blazer frame. So call it a custom or a conversion or whatever. The fact remains is that they did not make very many factory 2wd', but who cares? We all drop them and customize them anyway! I purchased this Blazer because it was very solid and required no body work. The rockers, rocker boxes, floor both front and rear as well as the windshield frame, doors, fenders, tailgate and quarter panels are all solid!!The paint is a few years old but holds up very nice .The top is in good condition as well. Check out the pics. Has a few very minor blem', but are hardly noticeable. Not a show rig but would be welcome at any local cruise night or car show. Very sanitary ride! I was planning on a late model LS swap but the 350 motor and TH350 transmission run very well. No noises or smoke. Not a powerhouse but cruises down the freeway just fine. Has power disc brakes up front as well as power steering. Factory 12blt in the rear with drum brakes and coil spring suspension. The motor has a few ad on's such as a Edelbrock performer intake and Edelbrock carb as well as a H.E.I distributor. Other then that the motor is stock. Has Corvette style ram horn exhaust manifolds with new dual exhaust. All of the chrom, trim and glass is in really good condition. The interior is out of a 73-75 era K5 Blazer. Although the interior is not period correct it still retains the low back front bucket appearance and has had shoulder belts added. Has all new 20x8 and 20x9.5 staggered U.S Mags Ramblers with brand new tires as well. It has been mildly lowered. I had big plans for this rig but am now switching gears and have to thin the heard a bit. If you have been looking for a first generation 2wd Blazer that won't break the bank you might want to check this one out!! It's ready for what ever personal custom touches you can think of! LS swap? Air ride? Just a few things I had planned for it. Or drive it the way it is? I drive it when ever it's nice out and get compliments all the time. This is a turn key cruiser!! I have priced this rig to sell!! I know what I am in it and what it's worth. Not a fire sale by no means but I would like the Blazer to sell the first time around. Serious buyer only please!!
Feel free to call with any questions or concerns at 208-304-9288
I have plenty of more pics and video's of the the Blazer running and driving!!
