This is a beautiful 1955 Chevy I bought back in March of 2012, which I converted into a 21st century resto-mod.
Here are the details;
Completely removed the Interior to check for rust, painted the floor with rhino-liner, installed sound proofing and new window seals. Installed new door weather stripping and
Vintage air-conditioning. Installed a new stereo, with 4 new speakers. Bought a used LS-1 with the 4 L-60-E transmissions from Cleveland-Pick-a-Part in Cleveland Ohio. It came with a "Carfax" that states it had 54,000.00 miles on it and was out of a 02 Pontiac Trans AM. Bought a new engine control module from John at "Spear Techâ€, which came with a performance upgrade. Upgrade the front brakes to power disc brakes along with power steering. Installed new 2" dropped front spindles and coil springs, with new bushings, ball joins and idler arm. Upgraded the rear suspension with a four link out of 1970 A body Chevelle. Then I installed a new FORD-9" with 370 Posi-traction. Last, I installed a new Dakota Digital instrument cluster.
