Selling my high school car . Owned this 68 BB in my senior year of high school 1978 . 35 years after the sale I bought this car as a project with no idea it was my old car . Car had fender flairs back in the day . When I purchased the project new fenders and quarters were installed . when stripping off the remaining paint I discovered all the paint colors the car wore over the years . Thats when I knew it was my old car . It never went very far only 50 miles from where I lived. The matching #s 390hp 427 is still intact as well as the 4 speed trans . the rear got blown up many times and is not origina, hey what do you expect when driven hard by some 17 year old kid . I restored the body and refinished it with the correct safari yellow . Installed a new interior as well as the soft top . Car has an aux hard top painted to match . the tires are diamond back radial redlines on repro wheels also have the correct rally wheels with bias ply red lines for show . They are included in sale . Car has power steering and brakes and everything works as it should . The frame is very clean with very little rust as well as the birdcage . Car runs and drives very well . Going to miss it but who knows our paths may cross again .
