When we say this 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle is race-ready, we truly mean it. With a performance-built V8, upgraded suspension, four-on-the-floor, custom roll cage, and so much more invested so that this one lets you get right to the fun of racing. The Purple People Eater style paint is a proclamation that this coupe is a distinct machine. Of course, the pusher bars, cowl hood, hood pins, completion-style Torq Thrust wheels, and external fire and cutoff switches are also... dead giveaways that there was an investment in making this a race-ready machine. But more than just the upgrades, this one has the appeal of a true icon. After all, a real-deal Super Sport hardtop is a is a timeless classic, and so this one has just has its muscle car sensibilities maximized. Inside is a full competition package. Dual Cobra racing bucket seats, five-point harnesses, full race cage, window nets, a fire suppression system, power steering, and a fuel cell in the trunk are all great investments that have already been made in this racer. Plus, you even have some terrific upgrades you don't see in other machines, including a Terratrip rally computer, Terratrip intercom, and full Dakota Digital gauge package. Just like the interior and exterior, the engine bay has been given the right investments in performance. This is a 327 cubic-inch V8. It inhales deeply through a Demon dual-feed four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock aluminum intake. This exhales with thunderous authority as a mean set of headers feed the growling dual exhaust. This performance V8 is also supported by the right components, like steel-braded lines, MSD ignition, MSD Power Blaster coil, upgraded pulleys, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. You're in full control thanks to a four-speed manual transmission, and this feeds a stout Currie 9-inch rear. Big power is nothing without control, so there have been plenty of the right upgrades. It includes a thick Hotchkis front sway bar, newer bushings, and an upgraded rear with boxed control arms and sway bar. Plus, you have four-wheel disc brakes and the superior grip of Michelin Pilot tires. This is everything from a cool pro-street machine to a terrific head start on your next standout vintage racer. So don't let this mean purple SS slip away. Call today!!!
