1969 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
1969 Corvette convertible, originally with no convertible top, only removable black hardtop. It was Cortez Silver, 390 horse, 4-speed 370 Positrac. It was converted to an L88 clone (now called Tribute), as original engine block, all L 88 upper parts, aluminum heads aluminum intake and 750 Holly four barrel carburetor. The engine has been bored out thirty-thousandths and is now approximately 436 in.³. It has Hooker side pipes (they were a factory option in 1969). The engine has forged pistons and the wildest hydraulic and that I could find at the time very similar to the L 88 solid lifter cam. The engine was balanced. It has a L88 air intake hood. The car was painted red and a white convertible top was put on. The paint is Amron two-part Epoxy paint. Engine pics will post tomorrow, June 21
THIS IS NOT ONE OF THE ORIGINAL216 L88 FACTORY VEHICLES...it has been meticulously andpainstakinglybuilt, all GM factory parts to the same specifications as an original...very fun to drive, turns heads everywhere. I have owned this vehicle since 1995 and have always kept it maintained and running. Right now it could use a good tune-up is all. Feel free to send me questions...while I am not a mechanic...I will do my best to get and have an answer. I do love having this. I have not put maybe 100 miles on the vehicle since buying it. My son goes to college this fall and it is time to liquidate some toys, that simple. I will not give this car away...I have seen them same as mine on Hemmings for $95,000. This needs a good home!
I am willing to work with serious, fair-minded buyers.. I have a reasonable reserve set. You will have to have it transported, your expense...I can assist however possible to help facilitate vehicle removal. Please ignore the 3-Day handling time...we all know per the description above that you are responible for all costs for pick-up and delivery.
Engine pics will be available and posted on 7/2/18.
Serious inquiries only,
