Configured for maximum visual impact, while carrying the muscle to put its "bite" easily on a par with its "bark", this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro restomod features not only an outstanding drivetrain, but also a host of other upgrades to harness all of its power and make for an otherworldly driving experience. With its black paint and modified body, this Chevy is sporting a seriously aggressive look, but a lot of effort has obviously gone into creating an equally polished result.... The broad silver stripes running down its middle from front to back are no mere decals - they were painted on and still retain their noticeably sharp edges. The dynamic hood scoop up front is well-crafted, showing no jagged edges or unevenness while providing additional clearance that hints at the ferocity beneath. The details that make for a well-executed finish have been taken care of, as well - the bumpers are straight and level and sport clean, unblemished chrome, the glass is nice and clean on all four sides, and the trim and bright work are great. From all appearances, the body alignment is on point, too, as the gaps between panels are impressively even, the doors open and shut smoothly, and that signature "SS" front grille lines up well with the hidden headlight doors on its sides. Climb inside and you'll see an impressive interior with a lot of nice touches, with stock components blending seamlessly with aftermarket counterparts. You'll feel powerful just sitting behind the wheel, anticipating all the capability and features sitting at your disposal. ProCar black leather bucket and bench seats sit in both the front and back to replace the originals, and they not only show virtually no wear - a nice by-product of only having about 2200 miles on this build - but they're also really well-padded and comfortable. On both sides, the door panels are in great shape, sitting flat and carrying billet window cranks and door handles. Just behind an awesome Billet Specialties steering wheel sits a full assortment of aftermarket Speedhut gauges to monitor your motoring functions, appearing right at home in the instrument cluster. Look just to the right and you'll see a trio of additional gauges sitting underneath yet another outstanding extra - the telltale Pioneer popup screen that controls an AM/FM/CD stereo system featuring a JL amp in back to power speakers in the doors and the package tray. Lift up the fiberglass hood and you'll see there's ample reason for that aggressive scoop - a massive 502 cubic inch Ram Jet V8 sits in place of the original in the engine bay, capable of churning out an incredible 502 horsepower and 565 lb./ft. of torque. Breathing out a pair of headers and into the 3" Borla exhaust, it sounds great, voicing a deep and rumbling note. A generously sized aluminum radiator sits up front, accompanied by a pair of electric fans to keep temperatures in check. Unlike so many machines built for extreme performance, this is one Camaro well-equipped for way more than just straight ahead exploits. A Heidts Performance suspension sits up front to provide dramatically increased capabilities on the corners, subframe connectors for added rigidity, and coilovers have been installed in back, not only providing an improved ride, but also eliminating the binding and noise so often encountered with leaf springs. This beast of a Camaro sits on a set of 17"Chevy Rally wheels, outfitted with 245/45 front and 275/40 rear Nitto tires. Looking to have the last word when it comes to sheer power and visual impact?
