1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Additional Info:
7 DAY AUCTION ENDING SUNDAY MAY 6;Outstanding, unrestored, all original 1984 Chevy Monte Carlo. Garage Kept by the same owner until 2016. 84K Actual Miles.5.0 V8, 4 barrel carburetor. Automatic Transmission. Cold Air Conditioning (converted to 134A in 2009) Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, AM-FM Stereo, Factory Road Wheels w/ newer matching BFGoodrich TA tires. Everything on the car functions properly - including the clock. Always starts right up, choke engages. Tracks straight down the highway with no weird shakes, shimmies or pulling. No Squeaks or rattles. Interior condition is amazing. Dash has absolutely no cracks. No cracks on the armrests, crisp surfaces on display panel, the door panels are not scratched or oxidized. Rear package tray is not faded or cracked, excellent headliner. No mysterious stains or odors. Weatherstripping is soft and supple. No fancy blue tooth or entertainment system, but it is actually relaxing to watch the clock's second hand ticking at red lights. Exterior shows amazingly well. Original paint with the original factory painted pinstripes. All of the body panels match up correctly. The clear coat on the top surfaces have started to haze, also known as "lacquer crack", too subtle tophotograph. This was a common issue on vehicles from this generation. The general consensus seems to be "leave it original!" When the car was less than a year old, she caught the edge of the garage with the driver's mirror. It was repaired at the dealership, paint was blended around the newmirror above the pinstripe- perfect color match, but in the right light you can see sanding marks if you know where to look. Numerous nicksand chips throughout that shouldbe expected on an original car of this age. The glass, including the windshield is all the original LOF; no wiper scratches or chips in the windshield - no vertical scratches on the side windows. The hood ornament appears to be from a Malibu, I have the correct one ordered; the rectangular screw cover on the driver's door panel is cracked- I am going to try to locate one this week. Square stainless trim pieceon the lower rear bumper driver side is peeling.Clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report.
