1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo VIDEO WITH LISTING Only 28,650 Miles From New! 2 Owners Original Medium Green / Medium Green 305ci V8 / Turbo Hydramatic Auto VIN: 1H57U7K526014 This peach of a ‘77 Monte Carlo remained with it’s original owner in Ohio all the way until 2015, when he sold it to a gentleman in the suburbs of Chicago. We then purchased it from the second owner in early 2018. As it sits, this car is in need of absolutely nothing. It is phenomenally clean... inside, out, and under, and drives every bit as well as you would hope from a well-taken-care-of, super-low-mileage car. Exterior: - Please see the video accompanying the listing, as the car is shown in detail and in direct sunlight. - This car still wears its original Medium Green paint and looks absolutely excellent. Even on the lowest corners, the car is free of any chipping, scuffs, or scratches. This car is in very, very impressive cosmetic order. - Chrome is mirror-like throughout, with no oxidation. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free - Wheels are in great shape. Tires appear close-to-new. Interior: - There is really only one very minor flaw to be aware of in the interior, and that is a tiny puncture on the outer driver’s seat bolster. Aside from that, both front and rear bench seats are in excellent condition. No scuffs, scratches, etc. - Dash is excellent. No cracking or discoloring whatsoever. - All gauges are functional, as is the radio, analog clock, fan/heat, and interior lights. R12 air conditioning compressor kicks on but does not blow cold. - Headliner is excellent. - Steering wheel has no cracks, and only very minor wear - Carpets are free of any stains, and the car will also come with its original body-colored floor mats. Under the Hood / Underbody: - Underbody is in excellent shape. This car was undercoated and it has served its purpose. There is absolutely no through rust or anything close to it. Please take a look through the photos, as the underbody is documented in detail. - The car retains its original motor and transmission. U-code 305ci V8 and Turbo Hydramatic trans. - Runs and drives extremely well. No tendencies or noises of any concern whatsoever. The car fires right up, idles cool and steady, accelerates without any stuttering or hesitation, brakes very well, and tracks straight under both acceleration and braking. Monroe shocks are new. We wouldn’t hesitate to fly in and drive home regardless of destination. The car will be sold with its original manuals and booklets, including the original warranty booklet with delivery information.
