1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS - B4C, 1LE options
Please read the description - I will describe and disclose everything, but if you have any questions, please email me.
I purchased this car on eBay in February 2006. Since I have owned it, I have driven it only approximately 2K miles per year. I have done a lot of work on this car, including a performance engine rebuild, interior, suspension and drivetrain. Lately, it has been experiencing a surging from the engine that I cannot determine the cause. I also think there is a problem with the torque converter lock-up because of a brief "chugging" in 4th gear overdrive. I've taken it to several local shops without success. The engine runs and it is very strong. I've alsoinstalled ceramic-coated Hooker headers and had theAIR pump removed so it does not pass Colorado's strict emissions. I do have the AIR pumpand plumbing. I have all of the paperwork to show it being registered with the New York State Police.Despite being from the east coast, there really isn't any rust - only minor surface rust only. I didhave the hood andnose repainted due tostone nicks -never involved in a crash. There is some evidence of it's former life as a patrol car - repairs from the lightbar, antenna and spotlights - but they are only visible when seen up close. To me, this adds character and proves its history. This car is very clean inside and out. No leaks. Air conditioning is intake but not pressurized due to the type of required refrigerant not available. I have nearly every receipt and documentation. I have spent thousands on this car to get it to where it is (over $8K on the engine alone), it pains me to need to sell it for much much less because of its running issues.
Due to it's running condition, the buyer would have to have it trailered or arrange transport. These cars are becoming increasingly rare. This car, in the medium quasar blue metallic, is very rare and looks spectacular in the sun.
