This beautiful "Tuxedo Black" 1961 Corvette was professionally restored by our talented staff right here in our state of the art restoration facility. Complete in 2015, this stunning example was part of our owner's private collection and has been only occasionally driven. The 1961 Corvettes offered a bit more interior space due to the reduction in the transmission tunnel width. These were the first models without the "teeth" in the grill area, the headlight bezels were body colored and the dual exhausts no longer exited through the rear bumper. Unfortunately, the original engine is no longer with this car, but has been replaced with a new GM crate engine to maximize reliability. The soft top is black and the interior is vibrant red...a stunning contrast to the Tuxedo Black with Silver coves exterior. Simply put, an elegant, beautifully restored classic Corvette with the benefit of a few modern updates. Options include:
