She is a beautiful fully optioned (even the car alarm option!), both a hard top and soft top, flawless paint and beautiful interior. I cannot think of anything she needs.Car history from previous owner that owned her for 40 years:"I have owned this car since 1977. It's time to retire in South America. About 4 years ago and 2,000 miles there was a complete resto of engine, transmission and ALL suspension. The heads got new valve guides and seats, valves and heavy duty springs along with anti pump lifters. The short block was sent to a speed shop where they did all the above mentioned machine work. The engine got new 8 to 1 pistons and was bored .0030 was also balanced as was the reground crank. New stock cam shaft, freeze plugs and all the usual things done to heads and block. The transmission was rebuilt and a high performance shift kit installed. It's a turbo 400. While I was waiting on the shop I installed new coil springs and rear steel leaf spring. New upper and lower control arm bushings and ball joints and tie rod ends. All the bushings from frame to body were replaced. I don't remember how much money I spent but it was a lot. Summer before last I had a minor fire under the hood. We replaced EVERYTHING under the hood that you can see or touch. A/C compressor, wiring harness, fiber optics, carb. quadrajet ($600.00) windshield wiper motor ETC. Detailed out engine compartment and went back with everything NEW. While I was waiting on parts we removed the entire interior put in new 80 watt speakers and heater core. The entire dashboard and door panels etc. was redyed factory saddle. New foam in the seats and new leather, carpet and jute. Also installed a $200.00 high torque starter. Also included is a hard top and the rag top frame. I have not replaced the rag top. Also is an all aluminum radiator add another $600.00 to these figures. So add the $800.00 for radiator and starter to the $23k. TOTAL OF $23,800.00 spent. I want to mention that Hagerty Classic Ins. Is the best that money can buy, not 1 hassle. There was also a coat of paint put on the car when we did the new hood. IT'S 1984 FERRARI RED. The only thing that hasn't been done was remove the body off the frame. New u joints as well as the joints in the axle have been replaced at the time the engine was done. New tires BF Goodrich T/As about an extra $500.00. This was my daily driver back in the late 70s. Now it is only driven on Sundays and to shows. I am the 3rd owner and the reason the miles are so low (60,000) is the car spent the first 8 years of its life in a small community called Seabrook TX. Right next to NASA, south of Houston."My comments:I brought her in 2017 and proceeded to do a full frame on restoration performed by WHITT'S ROD SHOP LLC in Grand Junction, CO and Danny's Automotive in Agoura Hils CA. All new chrome, suspension, soft top, exhaust system, air conditioner upgrades, luggage rack, new door panels, Bilstein shocks, paint and body work. I have the receipts and work orders totaling over $25,000.00.
