1971 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne Additional Info:
1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne 1/2ton, 2-wheel drive Long Bed with original wood floor,
Factory A/C, 350 small block, TH 350 AT, PS, manual brakes, Non Tilt column, No tach, BUT IS A FACTORY ORDERED CHEYENNE!Truck was purchased from the estate of the original owner. truck was sold originally out of Encinitas, CA, and was then transported to Bend, OR and spent its entire life in the high desert in a heated airplane hanger. at the time we purchased it, the truck had 98,000 original documented mileage. We have the very rare original GM Protecto plate from the factory! we
personally drove the truck when it rolled over 100,000 miles. this truck has absolutely ZERO rust, repeat, ZERO rust, and has never had any rust repair of any kind, ZERO body filler on this truck. the truck got its first repaint in Sept of 2016. the truck was competely disassembled, and professionally repainted, truck has all its original factory sheet metal, with the exception of the passenger rocker panel, which was replaced only because it had adeep dent, not for rust issues, this truck has NO RUST....with all new body trim, grille, emblems etc. with the exception of the paint job, this truck is completely unmolested in anyway. Factory AC blows cold, and heater core wasreplaced when the truck was painted. all new door seals, windshield, flow master true dual exhaust, new edlebrock carb and intake, HEIdistributor, battery, plugs, wires etc. We have the original intake, carb and distributor etc. we installed the new parts when we purchased the truck, as we drive it daily....the engine is otherwise original and untouched, runs/drives perfect, and gets tons of attention everywhere it goes.to be a "show truck", it will need the interior finished, it has a new dash pad, but the seat has a small tear and it needs a new headliner. The other item to be finished, is the inside of the bed, we used this truck to haul lumber and building materials, so we didn't repaint the bed inside, but planned to rhino line or paint it after our house was built, but now you can decide...either way, it's a cheap project to make this clean original truck show perfect.
