Up for bidding is my own personal 1969 Camaro LM1 Convertible that I received from the second owner. I have enjoyed driving this car for years and now its time to restore the old girl and move her on to a new owner. It has the LM1 350, power steering, power disc brakes, powerglide transmission, power top, and exterior trim package. If you do some research, you will find that the LM1 option is very rare and accounts for only around 4% of all '69 Camaro's produced. Even fewer were convertibles. The LM1 optioned cars are built exactly the same as an SS but with larger chamber cylinder heads that gave it about 45 HP less than an SS 350 and were no longer available after November of 1968. My car is numbers matching with the exception of the cylinder heads. The previous owner swapped them for a set of later model reconditioned heads about 15 years ago. This Camaro also has its factory 12 bolt rear, multi leaf springs and correct two piece rear brake line.
What you are bidding on is a finished "turn key" vehicle scheduled to be completed this May. I own and operate a full service restoration facility here in northwest Ohio and have been restoring all types of classics for over 30 years. Camaro's are my specialty and I have many satisfied customers all over the United States. This Camaro is currently undergoing a frame-off restoration in my shop. I will be installing a new 1 piece floor pan as well as replacing the interior and touching up some minor paint blemishes. The winning bidder will receive this car restored to stock with a few minor upgrades. The winner will also have the option of building the car to their liking, but upgrades above what is listed below are not included in this auction. I can update the chassis and suspension, install a late model LS1 4L60E and Vintage Air, coil-overs, mini-tubs, etc. If I do install an LS drivetrain, the original LM1 setup will be included with the car. I feel it is very important that the original drivetrain stays with this car throughout its life, even if its not installed in the chassis. I can build this car from mild to wild and anything in-between in any color combination so please contact me for all of the details.
Do your research and you will see how rare this Camaro is. If you would like to go over this build in greater detail, please give me a call at the number listed above. The last few pictures show the car as it is being disassembled and also show the optional LS1 4L60E setup that can be installed.

The winning bidder will be required to make a $5,000.00 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of the auctions end ($500 via paypal and $4,500 via cash or certified funds). The remaining balance will be paid in two equal payments divided between the end of the auction and the completion date. I have the clear title in my name and it as well as the Camaro will not be released until all balances have been paid in full and cleared. I can assist with shipping if the winner is unable to take delivery in person. Again, please call Nick at 419-523-6900 for details.
