1985 Chevrolet El Camino Additional Info:

For sale is a 1985 El Camino. Everything about this vehicle is custom. It is a proven show car; winning numerous trophies/plaques for Best in Class, Best Interior, Sponsor's Choice and Best in Show. It has the style needed for the car shows, but still packs enough power for on the track (1/8: 8.915 @ 77.72. I wasn't really pushing it; I did a single pass just to say that I drove it on a track. The car is capable of way more).I am a private owner; not a dealership. I am only selling it because I own two custom El Caminos. My wife will not drive either of them to car shows or parades because they are too powerful. Details of the vehicle are below:

The build was completed in NY in 2005; it appears that the owner that commissioned the work lost the car under the mechanics lien to the auto shop. They sold it to recoup some of their expenses. I purchased it in 2006 on eBay. I have the build sheet detailing over $100k of work. This car has been used only on weekends, garage kept and insured (with a $33,000 agreed replacement value) as a show car. It has picked up some blemishes as time has passed, but it is still a high quality show piece. The report will show ittitled in 2007 (that was my dad while I was overseas), and again in 2008. Both are under my ownership. It has been used only on weekends, garage kept and insured (with a $33,000 agreed replacement value) as a show car. It has picked up some blemishes as time has passed, but it is still a high quality show piece.

Listing is also being offered locally and will end if local sale is made.

Message me with any questions. I am new to selling on eBay; please be patient with me on responses and on post-sale efforts to get the purchaser their car.
