1946 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Additional Info:
I have for sale a 1946 Chevrolet Fleetmaster. This is a one owner car. The original owner passed away and his daughter asked her husband to pull it out of the garage and get it running and sell it.Because it sat so long,It's going to need wheel cylinder kits which are cheap and available anywhere to make it road worthy.I have the original drivers side rear hub cap that is missing in the pictures. I took it off to remove the wheel toinspect the brakes.I put it back on.The emergency brake works so we can load it on your trailer with ease.He drained the old gas, tuned it up, changed the oil and put a new battery in it and it fired right up after sitting for 20 years. All gauges and lights work. All glass is intact. There is one small pebble chip which does not interfere. There is very little rust on this car because number one, it's made out of good old American made heavy steel. This car is solid as a tank. They don't make them like they used to. It is the original paint with no bondo or filler or repaint.Yeah,it has a few small dents that can be popped out,but has never been wrecked. It wood be cool to just drive it like it is with all the patina, or spray a clear over it and preserve the patina. The V emblem on the front of the hood was a symbol of victory after WW2.The old spot light works.I included a picture showing I have the rear drivers side hubcap. That piece that is missing in front of the rear drivers side wheel is just a piece of rubber that can be bought for a little nothing or fabricated from an old rubber floor mat.You will be hard pressed to find an old car like this that is 100 percent original and unmolested. The car was last licensed in 1972 and has been stored inowners garage where he continued to start the car occasionally. I have a clean clear title.Someone is going to get a good running solid oldsurvivor and it might as well be you. Don't miss out on this raredeal.I'm looking for an old Harley Davidson FL, 70's or early 80's model with the original paint. I reserve the right to sell locally .Any questions call Danny at 812 493-2510 Thank you and good luck!
