1946 Chevrolet Other Pickups 1/2 ton Additional Info:
Here's a great 41-46 chevy truck project. There is no title to this truck. I will send a bill of sale. It is a rolling shell with lots o parts. The frame looks great, the body and bed are solid with some rust repair needed at the bottoms of the doors and some work on the drivers side lower cowl panel. The front wind shield and frame, gauges and a mystery heater box are in the cab. The front fenders and hood are all usable. The grill may not be.Items missing are: rear fenders, rear bumper, back and side glass, seat, gas tank, some upper grill parts & chrome trim on the side of hood. Most likely some other small parts as well. I have parts from 4 215ci engines. carbs, intakes, blocks, bell housings, heads, etc... (more than one complete engine) one manual transmission. I also have a rebuildable 283 ci v8 that is sold separately. There is an original radiator included as well. This project is probably more suited to a restoration since I have a lot of original parts. This truck is located near Newton Kansas. It will easily go on a trailer and the engine parts are on pallets. We will help load, but this is not the type of sale to just send out a transporter. A non refundable pay pal deposit or $250.00 is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Final pick up of the truck and parts must be done within 2 months. Cashiers or bank check must be deposited and cleared before taking delivery of the truck. Please ask all questions early. Thanks for looking!

Note: I have had questions about the vin stamp or plate. I'm not sure whether this truck has one. (I forgot to verify when I took the pics) I did some research and found that the original engine blocks have ID stamps on them that was sometimes used as the vehicle ID on older models. Since I have 4 blocks, one of them should either stay with the truck long enough to be used as the ID and then stamp that ID on the frame or be used in the restoration. I think that should take care of the identification problem. I hope this doesn't confuse or scare away all you potential bidders.
