1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 2dr Coupe Additional Info:
Gr8 daily driver, 10 footer, extremely reliable, fun to drive, bucket seats in front, rare fold down rear seat option, dual side view mirror option, special Mag Rally wheel covers, very rare tissue dispenser option below dash at passenger side front seat, new (less than 200 miles) narrow ww tires all around, new shocks all around, dual exhausts w/ chrome tips, newer Optima battery, battery cut off switch in engine bay, Halogen headlites, noise absorbing material at engine lid, spare tire mtd. in rear for add'l room in trunk, never driven in snow, ice, or salty roads, stored inside for winters, driven in summers, maintained by local well respected Illinois Corvair expert, everything works as it should except for orig. AM/FM radio.Rare color combination of Aztec Bronze exterior and lite Fawn Beige interior is one year (1966) option only, and looks AWESOME, matching beige center console, woven Cocoa floor mats front and back. Car runs good, drives good, does not smoke, I drive at 75 mph on expressways w/ no problem. Exceptional daily driver, was previously a "Florida show car". I have owned, upgraded, and carefully maintained it for 4 fun filled years, but now it is time to thin the herd - my wife thinks 13 of these little darlings is too many.Own a 50 + year old collector car that is fun to drive and show off - for way less than a collector Mustang or Camaro. My loss is your gain - asking $11,500.00 - $13,085 invested. 1K down and balance (in cash) upon pick up.Has the start of light rust/air bubbles/cracks in exterior paint in a few locations - 10 footer - rust removal and a nice exterior repait ($3,000.00) would put it back in "Show Car Condition" - interior is Awesome. Also has a slight engine oil leak - drips about a half dollar size on concrete in 24 hrs. Front (original) carpeting has stains under rubber mat and Cocoa floor mats.Being sold "as is and where is". Location is Kingsland, Tx. Local pick up or delivery - long distance del'y is by purchaser. Car is advertised locally and nationally so I reserve the right to end bidding at any time.
