1959 Chevrolet Impala Additional Info:
Sometimes you have to do things you don’t want to do, and unfortunately this is one of those times. So with that said, I am regretfully offering up one time my 1959 Chevrolet Parkwood Station wagon. The 1959 Chevy wagons are extremely hard to find in nice condition. They are even harder to find parts for. This is a very nice, better than average driver quality 59 wagon.
The car was brought up from South Carolina about 15 years ago and was a one family owner until then. The car was repainted at that time and had a ton of upgrades installed. The underneath is very solid with original floor pans, braces, inner/outer rockers, body mounts, etc. The only rust underneath that I have found is a very small amount of dry rust in the right front seat brace. It’s really nothing to speak of and I personally wouldn’t ever touch it. The paint on the car is about 15 years old, and does have some wear and blemishes from use. It still looks great.
This is a great car and I drive it every chance I get. All the stainless and chrome are better than driver quality other than the rear bumper it does have some scratches. I am a used car dealer, but I bought this car for me and my family to enjoy and I never had any intentions on ever selling it. I’ve owned it a little over 3 years and it has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. If you want an awesome and reliable 59 wagon that you can drive and enjoy, this is it.
The interior in the car is mostly original. The car was ordered in 1959 with the upgraded Nomad Int package. The carpet and front bottom seat insert has been replaced. You can see in the pictures the stitching is starting to separate on the drivers side and needs re-stitched. Everything works in the car and like I said it’s a blast to drive. This car runs, drives, rides, idles perfect and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. It has been driven a few times back in forth to Charlotte GGs show.
This car runs down the road very nice. The reserve price is very reasonably set for this vehicle. Could not be professional built for my reserve price.
