Thank you for taking the time to view this amazing 1969 Chevelle Malibu 2DR Hardtop. This Malibu has had a FULL "Frame On" restoration with no expense spared! You heart will be exhilaratedby the 383 stroker motor and the High Gloss Intense Pearl Metallic Blue paint will amaze you! This is a Desirable Classic you will be extremely proud to own! This Chevelle Malibu was purchased from an estate and it is very evident the previous owner loved the Chevelle and took a lot of pride in the restoration.
The engine is a 383 stroker motor that puts out 450 plus horsepower. The engine also features a gear drive kit, giving that whining sound similar to that of a blower. A Chrome Plated engine dress up kit and headers are perfect final touches on the engine compartment. The transmission is a perfect shifting turbo hydro 350 with a Hughes 2500 stall converter. Power is placed on the ground with a 10 bolt POSI with 4:11 gear ratio. For added stability and traction a Anti-Hop bar was also added to the rear axle housing.All brand new suspension components were installed making the Chevelle drive like the day it left the showroom floor.
The body on the Chevelle Malibu has been completely restored by a local body shop that has a reputation for high quality work and is familar with the process of restoring a Classic Car. The body and paint alone were in excess of $16,000.00. New quarter panels and inner panels were installed along with new OEM fenders and the final touch of a SS hood. The Intense Pearl Metallic blue paint shines amazingly and the color just looks awesome.The underside was undercoated to protect the Chevelle from the elements.The entire interior was also completely restored with a beautiful set of blue OEM style seat covers, headliner, and complete carpet kit.
The Chevelle has that perfect BOLD Hot Rod stance and features period correct "Old School" look with 15" X 8" Cragar SS Chrome Plated Wheels and Performance Firestone Firehawk White Letter Radial Tires.
