1946 Chevrolet Other Pickups "Klear View" Additional Info:

1946 Chevy truck named "Klear View." An absolutely amazing build that is done to such a high level it looks like rolling jewelry. Truck is the result of 3-year build by a master metal-smith who reworked every detail. The one-off custom hood was handcrafted using the same clear acrylic used to form aircraft canopies with over 70 days spent perfecting the fit. Displayed under the clear hood is a balanced and blueprinted 383cid engine with all stainless hardware, every piece chromed or polished and producing 435hp at 5,700rpm. The transmission is a Turbo 350 with Stage 1 shift kit. The frame is custom built with every piece of the underside and suspension painted, polished or chromed including over 80 stainless caps custom machined and polished to cover hardware underneath. The paint is pearlized Audi Daytona Gray which goes perfectly with the Flame Red and polished metal accents for a gorgeous and rich look. Even the inside of the custom lake-style headers are matching Flame Red. The steel 1946 body has a 4" chop, smoothed firewall and cowl vents, electric power tilt windshield, power windows, suicide doors, shaved door handles and hinges, custom fabricated steel bed with Pennsylvania Cherry wood floor, 3" louvered tail pan, flush mounted access doors in bed for gas and battery disconnect, custom emblems, one-off polished stainless grille and turn signals built into the frame under polished bezels. The custom Flame Red interior with ostrich accents boasts a smoothed steel dash with Auto Meter gauges molded into the header, polished bomber seats, smoothed and painted center tunnel, and billet and chromed pieces throughout. The wheels are real Dayton wires with custom etched "Klear View" center caps and Excelsior tires. This is automotive artwork at its best and would be a great addition to any collection.
