1972 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 cheyenne Additional Info:
This 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne K/20 has under 53,400 two owner miles. The truck was sold to my dad in 1997 from the original owner in Hampton,VA. It was driven home to Western Pa after sitting for several years...I started a body off restoration in 2006 after leaving it sit in a garage for almost ten years...I finished a complete nut bolt body off restoration on this truck. It did have three factory gas tanks but i had the both the bed tanks filled in and utilized the behind the seat one. I put GM Restoration Parts doors, rocker panels, cab corners on it as well as aftermarket front fenders. I changed the metal bed to the factory optioned wood bed and used Oak as the wood. This was one heavily optioned truck when new...Factory A/C, AM/FM radio, Tachometer, Tilt Steering Wheel, Rear Sliding Window, Oil Gauge, Disc Brakes, Detroit Locker Rear End, Two Tone Paint, 16.5 Wheels...NOS hub caps...everything was replaced that could be...frame was powder coated, as well as stainless steel brake, transmission, and fuel lines. New outline white letter Dunlop tires...I restored this truck for my father in a no expense spared project but i didn't get it done soon enough...he went partially blind and couldn't drive it. It was driven two times in the past 8yrs and it was to a car show and it did win with my mom driving my dad on the show field. he was just put in a home with not a lot of time left so i thought it was time to let it be taken care of by someone else...I live in Florida and the truck is in Pa. It has only had 250 miles put on it in 8yrs. It does need a speedometer cable installed that is in the truck....The AC need charged (never charged) and the fuel gauge don't work...I have no idea the cluster was sent away there was a new sender and a new tank...beats me...If you have any questions please get at me...
