1972 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:
You are looking at a NO RESERVE AUCTION for a highly optioned, original and extremely collectible 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne C20.
This Cheyenne came loaded from the factory with a 400ci big block V8 engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, deluxe gauges, power steering, heavy duty rear leaf springs, 4.10 rear differential and factory tinted glass. All of these factory installed options are documented on the Service Parts Identification tag that is still in tact on the inside of the glove box door. All of the VIN#s on the truck match the title. The VIN# on the SPID tag matches the VIN # on the door jamb plate. The VIN # matches the partial VIN# stamped on to the truck's frame too.
Not only is this 3/4 ton Cheyenne loaded with factory installed options, but it also comes in a highly sought after color combination. Exterior is factory red orange upper and lower and white with upper and lower trim. Interior is Parchment white.
The tuck appears to also have all of its original sheetmetal and paint. The paint has worn through to the factory primer in the middle of the hood and above the front fender arches. The original air conditioning dash is un modified and uncut. All of the interior of the truck appears correct with Parchment(white) sun visors, headliner, door panels and arm rests. The original bench seat is there but will need reupholstering. Unfortunately the factory installed AM push button radio is gone, but once again the dash has NOT been modified or cut. An aftermarket steering wheel has been installed. All the gauges work as they should, doors close and lock and the windows roll up and down like they should.
Truck has very little rust. The front inner and outer fenders have no rust. The front and rear cab supports have no rust. The windshield frame and upper cowl areas have no rust. The tailgate and entire steel bed floor have no rust! The only areas I'd recommend rust repair be performed on are the outer rocker panels, bottom corners of the driver's door and the passenger side cab corner. Besides those areas the truck has all of it's original sheetmetal and is rust free!
Truck runs and drives like it is. Truck currently has a small block engine in it and is missing the air conditioning compressor and brackets.Odometer only shows five digits so true mileage is unknown.
I would highly recommend the very small and easy amount of rust repair be done as well as the body and paint work be done to the truck. This is a very well optioned and collectible Cheyenne C20 at a very low price. You can drive and enjoy as is or easily restore in to a high $30k to low $40k vehicle. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.
Vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
