1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Additional Info:
Bid with confidence, I am a long time Ebay member and have 100 percent perfect feedback.
87,000 mile Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z 5.7 litre. Car runs on all 8 cylinders and drives.
Body is very rust free, floor pans in good shape and have been undercoated. Car is a true factory 350 IROC-Z.Car has a clean title.
Car has 2 100% brand new tires just put on this week, 0 miles on them.
The transmission, engine, differential, suspension etc in this car are completely sound, no funny noises, car shifts through all gears, etc.
Car does not leak ANY fluids of any kind.
All mods are proven, quality, brand name parts that were professionally installed.
In addition to having the L98 350 engine, this car is a factory J65 4 wheel disc brake and overhead calender/appointment roller console car.
These cars are not cheap and plentiful anymore like they were 10-15 years ago when they hit the bottom of their value cycle. They are on the rise and it has been arapid rise and will continue just as the hi-po 1st and 2nd gen's have.
Iv done my best to describe the cars pros and cons, I am not trying to hide or misrepresent anything about this vehicle's condition. I know how aggravating it is whensomeone lists a car and has a 1 line description.

There was recently an IROC sold on Ebay that had nearly DOUBLE the mileage of this car, had a completely smashed in rear quarter panel I mean it had been hit HARD, hadthe less powerful and less desireable 305 engine, and incorrect wheels off a C3. That car went for about 3500. My car is an infinitely better car in every way, mileage, options, collectability, horsepower, body, you name it....and my reserve is within a G of what that car went for, so I feel my price is MORE than reasonable, especially considering with the way these cars are appreciating I am going to be kicking myself down the road for what I let it go for. My loss your gain.
I would MUCH prefer to keep the car and fix some of the cosmetic issues but space and financial constraints force me to sell in order to acquire another vehicle Iv hadmy eye on, I currently have 5 cars including 3 F-Body's and looking to ad a 6th, but only have a 2 car garage so something has to go. I found a very low mileagepristine Trans Am that I need to move on ASAP, if that T/A sells before I sell this I will no longer be offering this car for sale. Car is listed locally and I reservethe right to end the auction early. I have MANY parts for this car, many of them new in the box including extra hood, extra fender, extra lower front valance, hoodstruts, window motors, door pins, and more....
I am NOT guaranteeing that all of these parts go with the car, it's at my discretion depending on price. These cars are getting harder and harder to find in good shapereasonable miles EVERY day, believe me, I'm always looking.
This is a true factory top engine option IROC-Z, not a regular Z28 or a Berlinetta or an RS that someone threw some IROC door decals on. True factory 350 TPI car, runthe vin decoder if you dont believe me. 8th digit for a 1989 350 Camaro should be an 8, as it is in this car's VIN. These cars are only appreciating in value.
Bidders with less than 10 positive feedback MUST message me first and ask permission to bid or I will cancel your bid. This is unfortunately a necessary precaution asscammers plague ebay motors and will waste your time and force you to relist things multiple times.
Buyer is responsible for pickup. I have the car listed locally as well and reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally.
The issues with this car are primarily cosmetic and small stupid stuff. Paint is 30 years old and has seen better days, but there is no rot or rust on the body. Ifyour just looking for a driver the paint is acceptable, what I would call a 10-footer. But if your looking to fully restore and maximize your resale value the carcould use a paint job. Inside driver side door latch release linkage is acting up, sometimes doesn't want to open from the inside, always opens from the outside though, weatherstripping on the top of the doorskin where it meets the window glass is cracked and brittle, right now the hood has to be propped up when open, I have new hoodstruts for it and they will go with the car. Small crack in the front corner of driver side fender, small tear in front bumper cover close to same area. I will givethe auction winner an extra fender if you dont want to fix the existing one. I dont own an air/fuel ratio gauge but it seems to me that the car runs rich at idle, injector cycle rate just needs to be turned down, guys do mail order ECM tunes that will solve this for like $60, you can find these tuners all over the country andthe internet, even on ebay just do a search for "TPI custom tune". If you dont want to go that route you could also get it dyno-tuned, and will probably end up with abetter tune than if you go the mail-order route anyway. Car stays running and drives as it is, but you will do better on gas mileage if you lean it out. Other thanthat the engine is very healthy, bottom end was rebuilt only 10k miles ago, sounds good, no knocks no valvetrain noise, oil is clean with no metal in it.
