Complete restomod with many new parts Chevrolet 307ci V8 engine w/TH350 Automatic Transmission Mustang II front suspension Relocated fuel tank Power brakes Wood-floored bed w/toolbox and custom spare tire carrier $15,000 invested in partsDo you like the style of 40’s Chevy pickups but want more modern power? MotoeXotica is pleased to present a 1946 Chevrolet Pickup that we are selling for a local client.
On the outside, this truck features an older green and grey paint job that has some nice patina to it. It features dual side mirrors, a custom-made spare tire carrier, and a toolbox in the bed, which is the original wood. The truck also has turn signals, dual brakelights, and an LED reverse light with an all new wiring harness.
Open a side of the hood, and you’ll be greeted by a rebuilt 1970 Chevrolet 307ci V8 with a rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission back behind. In addition, it has an all new intake, 600 cfm carburetor with an electric choke, HEI distributor, coated headers, and a 4 row radiator that also acts as a transmission cooler which has dual electric fans on it. This truck does feature power brakes as well.
The suspension in the front is all Mustang II while the rear has new leaf springs & shocks. The alignment has also been done recently. The rear end is a 10-bolt and the fuel tank has been relocated from behind the seat to underneath the bed. The new black steel wheels are wrapped in 235/70R16 Maxxis Bravo H/T tires with chrome hubcaps all the way around.
Inside, the original seat has been reupholstered, as well as there’s a new tilt steering column, a full set of antique-appearing gauges, and an aftermarket automatic shifter. The passenger door lock has been re-keyed as well.
The Chevrolet AK Series truck was a light duty truck sold under the Chevrolet brand, with production beginning in 1941 until 1947. The AK series represented an appearance split from previous Chevrolet products where the passenger cars and pickup trucks shared a common appearance, as demonstrated in the Chevrolet Master truck.
This truck is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer shows 187 miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
