1970 Chevrolet Camaro - rare Rally Sport (RS) plus Super Sport (SS) Additional Info:
Selling my long-owned rare 1970 RS/SS Camaro (owned since 1976, 41 years, second owner). Always expected to restore it but never did. Last registered for use on the road in 1994 (23 years ago, see plate sticker). Mostly lightly used with less than 4,000 miles per year on average (only 94K miles in 24 years on and off use). I have kept it for the last 17 years (since 2000) tucked away unmoved in the closed storage locker seen in the pictures away from the elements. It was running and drive-able at the time when I drove it in to the locker.
It was inspected by restoration professionals a couple of years ago when I first started thinking about selling it and they concluded that the frame was in good shape. The restoration professionals quoted low prices for several lower panel replacements with rust areas where rain and condensation moisture typically collects over time. If you ever wanted to restore this year's classic, this one is likely in the best starting condition that you will ever find. This 1970 RS/SS Camaro typically re-sells for high dollar when fully restored. I have the clear title ready to give you.
This listing may be cancelled at any time prior to sale. The car is offered as-is where-is, sight unseen. All sales are final, no refunds. No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. Remaining payment amount still due must be paid by Bank Wire Transfer within 72 hours of sale. Vehicle must be removed from storage locker premises within four weeks of sale on an agreed to date when the locker will be opened, and the car turned over to the buyer for transport. Buyer is responsible for removal of vehicle from the opened locker, its loading on the transport vehicle, and shipping. If for some reason you need to continue to store the vehicle in the locker longer than four weeks after the sale, prior to its pick-up, or for any other special provisions that you might need, you would need to make those arraignments prior to bidding.
Successful bidder (buyer) must pay to seller a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $2000 by PayPal within 24 hours of bid closing. Remaining payment amount still due must be paid by Bank Wire Transfer within 72 hours of sale. Successful bidder must contact seller within 24 hours of the listing ending to make arrangements to complete the sale. I retain the right to cancel the sale if payments are not made on time.
