1965 CHEVROLET NOVA PRO STREET: This is a excellent car with about 1,700 miles on the build. The car is clean and very detailed to a 9 out of 10 show car status as shown in the photos.
It has a 650 horsepower 355 SBC with an 8:71 blower 13% under driven and 8# of boost for good street manners. Scat rotating assembly, World Sportsman II heads, Scorpion roller rockers and stud girdles. MSD ignition and distributor. The car is totally drivable with no starting or cooling issues whatsoever..95 degrees in long stop light traffic it runs 180 water temp. with dual thermostat controlled Dual fans and high quality Be Cool radiator.
It is a show and go fast car, but it is a nice driver for road trips also. The Nova has a Tremec TKO 5 speed and cruises at 2200 rpm at 75 MPH in 5th. gear. The car rides and drives smooth down the road with the M/T Radials all around. Rear is a 9" ford posi with 3:70 gears. 4 link with adjustable coil over shocks and quality sub frame connectors. It has a total cost involved complete front suspension clip with disc brakes and rack and pinion steering that works smooth. Chrome tubular A arms. Custom full exhaust over the rear end and out the back with dynomax mufflers. Not loud until you get in the gas hard. It has a '64 grille and tailights installed. The nitrous system you see was used for show, but is 95% complete. Bottle has never been filled or final fuel lines run from the second regulator. Dual fuel pumps and filters on the fuel system.
Interior and trunk area upholstery is leather with ostrich skin inserts. Car does not have seat belts installed. Nice stereo system with 8 speakers and an amp. Dakota digital instrument cluster, tilt steering, and all electrical circuits on the car work down to the dome light. Headlights, turn signals, horn, wipers, gas gauge, tach, water temp, voltage, oil pressure, RPM recall. 15 gallon fuel cell.
