1937 Chevrolet Other Additional Info:
This is a nice car built with some good components selected during the build process, about 16 years ago. I built this street rod in my garage with help from my son, friends and professionals in the classic car/streetrod business. The car has always been garaged except for a couple of months last year. Here are just some of the features: It has a built chevy 350 (definitely not stock ) with Edelbrock intake and 4B carb w/electric choke, 280 comp cam, (Engine Idle sounds very good ) Hooker hugger block headers. PS/PB. Engine is cooled by a Walker Radiator w/thermostat controlled electric fan. ( always runs cool ) Transmission is an automatic 350 Turbo w/2500 stall. Front suspension is an IFS Mustang II ( 2 in drop spindles ) with a Ford 8" rearend with .338 posi gears. The stopping power of the vehicle is BAER Brake sport trac system w/ 13" slotted/drilled Rotors and 4 piston calipers. This car cruises very nice and smooth on the interstate with plenty of power in reserve. The interior is completely covered in Dynomat sound proofing for quieter ride and climate control. TEA Design front and rear seats (rear seat adjusts) Flaming River tilt steering column with Lacarra full leather wrapped steering wheel, Lokar shifter and Lokar hand brake. 7" Kenwood screen, navigation, blu tooth, DVD/CD player and full custom sound system. Car has all new glass and seals, power windows, Vintage Air heater unit, all new Ron Francis wiring, Auto Meter gauges just to name a few. The outside of the car has smooth front and rear bumpers, shaved door handles with automatic poppers, LED Tail lights along with LED 3rd brake light. Full custom trunk. 17" Budnik Raptor wheels and dual flowmaster exhaust with high quality tips.Bottom line, this is a very nice street rod that is fun to own and fun to drive. The paint has some cracking ( no rust ) in places on the middle body molding lines on drivers side. I believe the paint cracked (only on driver side) due to the car being under a car cover and direct sun on the drivers side most of the day for a couple of months last year. No need for a re-paint unless you choose to change the color, otherwise, repair and blend. The left front fender has a small crack where the tire has rubbed, again, no fender replacement needed, just small repair on fender if you choose. I built this street rod to be dependable and fun. It has never disappointed and I enjoy this car every time I take it out. I'm absolutely for sure that you would too! This car is being sold AS IS with NO warranty expressed or implied.
