1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Additional Info:
1957 Chevy 210 Bel Air Hard Top Project
This is a clean title California Non Running/Driving Project Car.
Body: Pretty straight body with no real signs of visible rust other than surface rust from paint removal. Driver quarter panel is pretty good needing little bodywork. Pass quarter panel has damages the could be repaired but may be better off with a new panel. The floors and trunk areas are rust free! Even the stock shock mounts it the trunk are solid. Front fenders are in nice shape and rust free. Doors are in nice shape and rust free. Previous owner filled the heater area in the firewall to install a Vintage Heat/Air unit. Not completed. Very nice car to build!
Interior: Has original front and rear bench seats. All original trim and door panels are the including the stainless steel trim on the panels. All inner moldings seem to be present and in good shape. Has the stock gauges including stock dash clock. Some parts have been sand blasted to paint but not finished yet. Missing one of the door panel extensions between the seat and door panel otherwise seems very complete. All panels need to be restored. Has original side glass but missing front and rear glass.
Brakes and suspension: Front end suspension is all stock and rebuilt with new tie rods, new pit-man arm, new ball joints. new bushings. Has factory spindles and drum brakes. Has new master cylinder not installed. Rear suspension is stock leaf springs and stock rear end. Stock steering column mated to a 605 power steering box.
Engine and Trans: No engine or trans included. This car has the factory manual trans pedals installed. Will include a 4 speed shifter and Z-arm. I was told it was an original V-8 car with manual trans. Has factory gas tank installed.
Exhaust: Dual exhaust with glass pack mufflers dumped at the axle. No manifolds or headers.
Wheels and Tires: 15 inch rims that should be considered rollers.
Parts included: This car comes with most or all trim and bumper pieces. All trim in in great original shape ready to be polished. Has all bel air trim. Mostly complete car disassembled for restoration.
Things to know: Clear California title with non op status. Vin number is clear and present however I've had trouble relocating the trim tag. Previous owner removed it to smooth the firewall. Very nice restorable Bel Air Hard Top!
May deliver within 300 miles of San Jose Ca for a fee.
May be interested in some trades but prefer cash. I'm a Chevy guy so i'd look at Nova's Camaro', side by side like rhino, dune buggy, 30's hot rods, other projects, or?
