1972 Chevrolet El Camino Black Additional Info:
What a great car!! Diamond in the Rough.... this El Camino looks great as she is, but with further work she could be a show contender and an investment. The motor is rebuilt and it is not known how many miles are on it as the prior seller also did not know. But she runs strong, and I have never had any problems with the motor. This car has been in storage for a few years. Selling it as I am moving andjust don't have the time for it anymore. There are some issues as you would expect with many old cars that have not been fully updated. There is an oil pan gasket leak $200 to replace... not too bad but a little oil can get onto the headers from time to time and create a small puff of smoke..I would replace this soon. Paint is ingood condition on most of the body, though the tailgate needs a redo soon as you will see in the picture I provided. There are also some problem areas around the back window and a few cracks in the paint here and there.A littlerust under the paint along thebottom also pictured. Front brakes feel like they need a bleeding, buthave newprofessionally installed pads and rotors. Passenger exterior door handle not working well.Tires have good life left as well. Interior is in good shape, again still needs some restore work to be perfect.Bottom line is this car turns heads and is fun to drive... you can enjoy it as she is or continue to prettier her up and make her something really special.
