Downsizing our lives and selling some toys including my 1936 Chevy hot rod coupe. If you like a car with that 60's OLD SCHOOL Gasser look, but also comfortable to drive long distances; then this is for you. I' am 61 years old and had it built, so it wouldn't look like a street rod, but yet not be a rat rod that was problematic and uncomfortable. So we started with a nice Kansas 1936 Chevy coupe that we took the running boards off of, and put a new crate 305 SBC high rise polished Edelbroc manifold, and 500 series carb.Rebuilt 700R4 auto tranny in. New Aluminum radiator. Under 1000 miles on drivetrain/driven locally and to car shows. The frame is original, with Mustang 11 front end and rack. Dropped spindles, disc brakes/drum/power booster, tilt steering coluum, with a Sweet 1936 Buick Banjo Steering wheel.New Drive line made, mated to an early 70's Camaro rearend. All Chevy bolt pattern with Chrome reverse wheels on back and 4" Cragar front runners. (Note: I do have nicer 4" front runners that you can have instead if you wish. I just like the older vintage look of these.) New Radials all around. The body is nice but not perfect. It was primed sealed and done in a Urathane Burnt Orange metallic pearl, base coat clear coat. I still have a gallon of it left. In all it needed almost a gallon of filler to smooth it out. It also had suicide doors nicely put in as well as the inside of the car wood removed and replaced with steel. We put 60's style low back ivory buckets in it after laying the car completely up and down with dynamat sound/heat proof, and applying a heavy coat of 2nd Skin heat /sound proof, black loop carpet.. The headliner with 50's Chevy chrome dividers, was done in a Kiwi 60;s look, Metal flake as was the door panels in combination with the ivory vinyl. The dash has 1936 Buick gauges and is pretty darn cool, and gets a lot of looks at car shows for being different. It has a cool speaker in the back, made out of a old 30s headligh, and comes with sound system never installed. New glass with the sides fitted with electric power windows, that are not wired yet. (Never drive it in anything but nice weather with them up anyhow) Car has a new Painless wiring kit, Aluminum Fuel cell, Old school Ahooga horn and is ready to ENJOY for years to come. Again shes not perfect, because we didn't want the perfect 70's thru 90's STREET ROD look. She could use some finishing touch's on the inside trim pieces which are patinaed and I may or may not finish depending on the buyers taste. We just purchased new Ceramic coated headers that will be installed in a week. Shes reliable Fun light and quick. $24,950 or best reasonable offer
Note: I have a family member who is a shipping broker and can save you about 30% on trucking the car
