Up for Auction is a 1940 Chevy Business Coupe. I purchased this vehicle about 4 years ago from a gentleman that had owned it since 1969 When he purchased the vehicle it was a Gasser Dragster. He was converting it back to a street rod and lost interest so it sat there for 40 years. He installed a rebuilt 350 V8 1969 300h, 1962 Muncie 4 Speed and 1968 12 bolt Camaro rear end. Husrt Shifter,Stewart Warner gauges.. The guy had never fired to engine. When I got the car home we changed the oil put in points filled the carb bowl and it started right up and it runs fantastic. I put the seats back in, new tires and some brake work we have been driving it ever since. The car is very low geared not sure but I thin maybe 411 gear posi. It still has the straight axle up front with 50 chevy brakes and a Nova master cylinder. The car is pretty solid someone has done some patch work to the floors years ago and right rocker panel is a bit rusty. The glass is all there but needs replaced. It get attention when ever we drive it. That being said I won't drive it on a long trip. We drive it around town and to a few local car shows. Now it's time for someone else to take over I don't have the time to restore the car. Or you can drive as is like we do. I do have extra front fenders a lot of nos chrome headlamp bezels door handles, trunk lid hinges to much to list. This is just a real cool true old school street rod. Email any questions.
