1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Spyder Additional Info:
Rare 4 speed turbo model. Good running car with original rust free floor, trunk pan, and battery box. Tires have lots of tread, and the manual top was replaced in 2015. The engine was recently done with new forged pistons and rings, rebuilt carb, and new exhaust crossover. The car isn't broken in, so transport is highly recommended. A nice easy project.
Only 2% of Corvairs produced were Turbos. The advantage of a '64 is the upgraded engine displacement, and transverse leaf spring rear suspension. Plus it is the last year of solid body structure of the older body style. Without a whole lot of work this could be a show car, and Corvair parts are readily available through Clark's and other resellers.
