1964 CORVAIR MODEL 700 SEDAN
Up for your consideration and at "NO RESERVE†is this very nice low mileage 1964 Corvair Model 700 Sedan VIN # 40769W288052. This Corvair is equipped with GM's rear mount horizontally opposed 98hp 6cyl motor mated to a 2 speed Power Glide transmission. The exterior paint color is called Almond Fawn and is matched with a very clean and original Light tan interior. The paint and body are in real nice shape with no rust or damage on the body. It is a super respectable low mileage driver quality Corvair. The undercarriage and trunk pan are both also very solid with no rust. This real nice Corvair has been In Greenville SC for the past 33 years which is probably why the car is so solid. The car runs and drives very well and does not pull or wander. The only real options to mention are the oil bath air cleaner, factory day/night rearview mirror, factory door edge guards, rare beltline molding and the 3 bar wire wheel covers.
To sum it up, this is just a super nice looking and fun 53 year old classic car that you can get in and enjoy right away without having to do anything to it. No worrying about it being too expensive to drive or leave parked in town. Please take the time to look at the many current pictures taken 4/01/17 and feel free to ask all the questions you wish.
This Corvair is being sold at NO RESERVE and by a good friend of mine that has asked for my computer assistance listing it on eBay. For a full detailed description or any questions, please feel free to call Jerry at 864-934-6358 and I'm sure he'll be more than happy to help.
