Hello Bidders, Your looking at a beautiful Show or Go total frame-off restoration of a 1972 Chevrolet C10 1/2 Ton Short Box Step Side Pick Up Truck. This truck has just been completely and extensively restored with only less than 20 test miles, OVER $45,000 spent! No detail has been overlooked on this truck top to bottom. Hundreds and hundreds of hours have been spent on this restoration. All professionally done. Receipts and documents on much of this rebuild all available to prove the expenses on this truck. The truck and body were completely disassembled and each piece was addressed one by one. The drivetrain has been completely rebuilt with a late model Chevrolet 350 4 bolt Main Block, Bored .030 Over, with roller rocker cam and roller rockers! Flo Tek aluminum heads Weiand manifold. with Edelbrock 600 carburetor with electric choke. New 2-1/2 inch dual exhaust system with Hedman headers. Everything under the hood is new and detailed with new starter, new alternator, new water pump, new power brakes master cylinder, new booster and proportion valve. The frame was completely disassembled, blasted and rebuilt with all new bushings, steering components, idler arm, heavy duty anti-sway stabilizer bars. The frame also has a CPP lowering kit with new springs and shocks and ball joints. Stock 12 bolt rear end with 373 gears. Drive shaft was custom made to fit. Also custom gas tank and custom inlet for a clean look. New front disc brakes, new calipers and brake lines, hoses, new rear drums with new brake shoes and wheel cylinders. The pick up bed is a 1988 step side bed with the customized gas filler lid to fit custom fuel tank. Other items includ, all new EZ wiring kit I-DID-IT tilt wheel column and new custom steering wheel. Vintage air conditioning system installed and ready to operate with one more switch under hood to be connected and charging the system. ( It is all new and ready to be used). All new tinted glass and vent window systems with rubbers, fuzzies and weather strips are all new. Power steering, power brakes are all new. Completely rebuilt turbo 400 Automatic Transmission. Paint was very expensive as the entire body was stripped to bare metal and is completely rust free and addressed correctly and professionally. All Jams and inner outer fenders painted and sealed. We have extra touch-up paint available and the original paint code is Victory Red. The bed has been sealed in ultra Rhino Bed seal. The dash and gauges are all working and the original radio area was left open for your choice of stereo along with the side door panels openings for your speaker choice. All new carpet and Hounds tooth seat covers, visors and dash cover.
Overall, this is a highly detailed beautiful show truck with everything new or restored to show. The truck has the best of engine work as the owner has worked rebuilding show engines for many, many years. This truck was built for himself, with every detail to his high standards.
