Up for sale is my rare 1988 Chevy americruiser.
Only offered for two years.
This truck has about 155,000 miles on it.
It has been garage kept most of it's life before I got it.The transmission is slipping and it will need towed.Buyer is responsible for arranging pickup andTowing!I will not be shipping this item anywhere, as is where is!Pa buyers mustpay P.A. sales tax.Buyer also pays title transfer associated fees.If not sold truck can be seen at the Carlisile spring Show.
This is a very solid stright truck.
5.7 EFITwobench seatsThings I replaced on the truck since I got it,plugs wiresdistributor caprotoroil cap Y exhaust pipealternator.Shift solenoid, transmission filter and gasket.The exhaust is new minus the headers and catalytic converter, (Just a Black box).Four good matching Hancock tires.This was somebasictune up stuff for a truck that was stored in agarage and rarely driven over the last ten years.
Know issues:The drives side door has a slight drag, a very common GM problem for this year.The back left window is broken and will need replaced, currently has plexiglass in itThe vinyl top and tonneau cover are in good overall condition and the previous owner told me he had themreplaced.Unfortunately a recent hail storm has caused some smallcuts on the top and back.The transmission DOES NOT work andITwill need to be rebuilt or replaced!Needs paint.I put about 10,000 miles on this truck, takinga few couple hour road trips to Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh and it drove like a dream.It turned heads everytime I had it out!Runs strong & Starts right up........shifter goes to the floor.Last time I started it there was an antifreeze leak, looks like the hose clamp by the firewall.Call, text, or email me yourquestions!This is a cool & rare solid truck in need of more than I can offer to make it great again.
