This 55' All steel Chevy Truck is in excellent condition throughout, having gone through a ground up restoration which includes around 500 man hours of work logged. Under the hood is a 350CID "SB" Motor producing 330 hp with a 625CFM "Edelbrock" carburetor on an "Edelbrock Air Gap" manifold with polished "hooker headers". The Tranny is a Turbo 400 Complete with a 2300 stall torque converter and shift kit hooked up to a 10 bolt posi-trac differential.
There are a lot of chromed and polished aluminum pieces under the hood which includes the "GM" air cleaner and starter, alternator, hood latch, water pump, A/C unit, Zoops pulleys, brackets and valve covers.
The interior of this 55' pickup has the 85' Chevy "S10" bucket seats with center console and the "Lokar" shifter. The gauges are the "Dakota" digital. The stereo is a panasonic CD with remote.
The exterior has a 4 base and 3 clear of the "GM" white paint with pin stripes which looks amazing. The bed liner is dressed up with the polished oak wood with the S/S chrome stripes. The wheels are the American Racing chrome rally style mounted on a newer set of tires.
This 55' Chevy pickup has won 1st place three times at the "World of Wheels" best of show. So it's the real deal and worth every penny.. I have a bed cover and a stack of restoration receipts for the new owner.
