1955 Chevy pickup truck series 2. Short Bed, Step side. Start cruising the day you get it. Well cared for and rarely spent a night indoors.The casting numbers on engine block date the engine between 1958-60. More info here in a forum at corvetteforum.comThe transmission is a Muncie 4 Speed from 1969 and has a Hurst shifter and 4 speed knob on it. Pictures show Casting numbers.The Sun Visor is a highly desirable one-piece with stainless steel trim.Has working Midas Air Shocks on Rear.Lights and Blinkers work. Has external water temp and oil pressure gauge that works.The interior has the original speaker above rear view mirror and plenty of chrome including the heater box, vents, glove box, parking brake handle, side door panel and more. The diamond tuck around the dash showing its age. All the interior patterns are there if you decide to replace. Last owner had it since 1978. The V8 conversion was done prior to that but he updated it in '95 and rebuilt the 283 V8 with flat top heads, Erson cam, Edelbrock Intake, Holley Carb, 350 Heads, headers and the Muncie trans. For the next 15 years he drove it about 2 miles a day to and from work.It was stored on jack stands till this year. I fired it up and this year have put on a carb rebuild kit, battery, new rear tires and oil change. All other fluids were level.Floor pans are solid. Frame is Solid. Bottom of doors solid. Bondo in rear bottom corners of cab. Various dings and scratches. Brake master cylinder started leaking in the last month. Power steering would be a nice update. Bed wood looks good from underneath the top of bed has a removeable diamond plate liner over the wood.Original bench seat and box of various spare parts included, see pictures.Door glass is good. Vent window glass has bubbling around edges. Windshield has a couple cracks. I will rotate other pictures through as I have maxed out eBay with these.Will assist with local or international.
