Up for sale is a 1994 Chevy Caprice Station wagon retro fitted to resemble a mixture of the Ghostbusters Car.The car has a V8 motor with a automatic transmission, approximate millage is around 160,000. The Odometer has a electrical issue and fluctuates between numbers the whole time, The owner before me has estimated the millage around 155,000. With all the events the car has been to over the summer I estimated the millage around 165,000. The car runs well and has an extra fan installed for auxiliary cooling for parades and sitting for a long time. I have had this car running for over four hours with the lights on and it never touches the battery, its amazing. The auxiliary cooling is controlled by an extra toggle switch installed through the dash board. The cars interior is in fair condition and could use a strong cleaning and car seat covers. Windows, mirrors, and seat controls are all electric. A knob for the heat is missing but the other one slips right of to temporarily use. The car runs great and has plenty acceleration and shifts perfect. The front light bar, the little middle amber light bar and the real light bar are the only ones that are currently hooked up. The other lights still need to be tested and hooked up to a alternate power source or a larger alternator needs to be installed or a second battery. The main roof rack is custom welded using 1" sq tubing, and is attached to the car straight bolted with quarter inch bolts. The decals are professionally printed and installed. The message boards on the side are non-functioning and can get custom decals printed to say whatever you what. Most of the replica equipment on the roof is made of various materials such as plastic, fiberglass, wood, and metal. The "roof top equipment" is non functioning and for looks only. The car comes with a blue tooth speaker to put on the roof when parked to play music and the siren. This car has been rented out the whole month of October and has also been rented by movie theaters and other venues. Car is a real eye catcher and a fun way to make extra income. Businesses have rented it out for parades. The car has been well maintained and ready to drive.
Rear doors can swing open only can not be used as traditional tail gate mode cause the latch for that is broken. The wires ran through the car are loomed up to the passenger seat, The wires still need to be neatly loomed and tucked away. They are currently laying on the passenger side floor. The boxes that control the light bars could also use a console built around them. These are all things I planned on doing to finish off the car just ran out of allotted time on the project.
