1972 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:
Had this C10 for nearly two years and have loved it. We just had our third child, so I need to make room for something a little bigger. I've done a lot of work to it and have used it as my regular daily driver. That said, I'm not much of a mechanic, so everything that has been done has been done by professionals. There's a lot I could say about the truck, but here's several worth noting:
Newly rebuilt and installed 350 4 bolt main small block (less than 50 miles since install)
All new fluids, gaskets and spark plugs (less than a month)
All new interior (i.e. carpet, headliner, seats, etc.)
New Pioneer blue tooth capable stereo w/amp and sub and Rockford Fosgate speakers in kick panels and dashboard
New steering wheel (Chevy - wood)
Paint professionally removed to give the truck a rat-rod/shop truck look (have not done a clear coat since I planned to keep the truck in AZ and wanted it to oxidize. Truck is ready for paint if that's not your thing)
Tires less than two years old - wide set, lower stance
New Detroit Steel Wheels (raw - clear coated steelie's)
New starter
Upgraded alternator and wire harness
New side mirrors
New seat belts
Fully functional A/C
Power steering
Garage Kept
The truck is 99% done and in exceptional working order, but there are three things worth mentioning:
Short bed converted from a long bed (expertly done)
Windshield wipers don't work
Speedometer is slightly off due to the larger tires
Hate to part ways with the truck since I've put so much into it and it's now what I want, but needs of the family overrule.
