1965 Chevrolet C-10 custom Additional Info:
FOR SALE TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. I have a low reserve, so make your best bid in confidence that this truck is exactly as I describe it as. 1965 Chevy C10 short bed with the hard to find large rear window truck. It came from the factory with no options. No power brakes, no power steering = all power from the motor = to the rear tires. It steers and stops just fine = don't need extra steering/brake options to drive this truck. We rebuilt the 350 and the 600 DFM Edelbrock carburetor (not original to the truck, of course) and it should run 100,000 miles with proper care. We first ran the motor on the stand for about 1 hour and maybe 1 hour since it was installed in the truck = FRESH!!! The power glide transmission was sealed up but not rebuilt. It starts right up in any weather. You could "probably" drive it cross country today but, as I do all 50+ old trucks I'd first trailer it home and drive it local first. I'm sure the motor and transmission will give no problems. It can be a daily driver or, as all original vintage tracks are - could be a good frame off candidate. The floors has some shade tree repair before I got the truck. That being said they are definitely solid. A floor mat and insulation below would be good if it remains a driver. The rockers are good for a driver but, as 99.9% of any complete restoration rockers are replaced. There's some bubbling in the front fenders but, are definitely repariable, if yu want to go that route. All spare parts in the bed have been removed and do not go with the truck (see the empty bed pic). Anyone who would like to make an appointment to see this truck or with more questions please call/text Tom at 217-306-2821. The truck lives in a garage in Clinton, Il; 61727. Thanks for looking!!
