1980 Chevrolet Other Cabriolet Edition Additional Info:
1980 Cheverolet Monza Towne Coupe, Black on Black, 2nd owner! It is a Cabriolet Edition, but the half-vinyl roof has been removed. It has a 1979 151 CID (2.5 liter) inline-4 'Iron Duke' that was rebuilt 38,000 miles ago and re-ringed 11,000 miles ago. It runs great, about 150 HP. It has Holley 390 CFM Performance Carburetor and Saginaw 4 speed with new synchros, and a new clutch. It has 15 inch, with 4 locking lug, Aluminum Centerlines, these are SUPER RARE, may be the only ones left in the WORLD! I still have original 1980 V = 151ci (2.5l) Pontiac L4 2bbl 151 CID 'Iron Duke' engine that was removed from vehicle with 65,000 miles on it. Considering it was just under 90 HP, it's impressive, it could still push this Lordstown, Ohio produced Monza thru the quarter in 18 seconds. This car is a great peppy fuel-economy commuter, or could be restored to original for show, or tricked out for drag. I had Sears replace front and rear springs in 1992 for V-8, but never put one in her. These H-bodies are lightweight and great to convert to dragsters or pro street! The Bad: the front seat belts are shredded, front seats are torn, entire
exhaust system is bad and the interior ceiling is rusted. I have the original interior card board headliner. It needs fabric.
