1960 Chevrolet Suburban 10 Additional Info:
1960 Suburban Apache 10 4x4 All Wheel Drive 350 4 bolt main with 4,219 miles, speed with Granny gear with 4,219 on the Clutch as well with receipts for all work included. Power take off Tulsa Winch with the cool third Shifter lever on the floor still operates just fine all the 4x4 is original with divorced T221 transfer case and Posi Trac 3.92 Gear. Recent items replaced and are New Battery, tarter, irrors, iper arms and Tail Lights. Truck was purchased from California but spent some time in Arizona and Utah. The Suburban was painted a light Sea Foam green in 2015 with the idea of doing metal work later. the floors only need small metal work in the front sides towards the kick panels along with the obvious shown in the pictures. The frame and the rest of this truck is extremely solid. Interior has all three seats just needing reupholstered with original patterns still intact to duplicate if desired. Included is a Chevrolet 1960 4x4 shop manual along with a log book of provenance dating from 1966 to present day as well as road trip documented from Arizona to the Yucatan Peninsula! This is a rare unit as 1960 was the first year Chevrolet offered a 4x4 as an option direct from the factory which added as much as 47% to the base MSRP with only 16% of Chevy trucks delivered on 1960 with 4x4 ! this unit still needs a few thing, t has a cracked passenger window and the wing glass needs replacing. the clutch slave cylinder has a slow leak and drips, ay need a new U joint as it seems to have driveline vibe at 40 - 50 MPH, ut maybe just the nature of the divorced transfer case and low gearing,Other than a local purchase I would trailer her to play it safe. I have tried to be honest to any work she needs and I hate to sell her as she always draws a crowd and gets a thumbs up every time out. I just have way too much on my plate right now and this all wheel drive Apache Suburban deserves a new family. Vehicle is for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end auction at any time. I will not sell outside of continental United States and Canada.
