For sale is a rare, almost completely original, unmolested, 9 passenger 64 Chevy Bel Air Station Wagon. It has awesome patinaed original Palomar Red paint. It is a 283 V8, 2 barrel with a 3 speed manual on the column or as they say three on the tree. It has a working factory automatic choke. Column shifter is tight and shifts well. GM HEI distributor, new cap, rotor, wires and plugs. It has options including power steering, padded dash, reverse lights, hazard flashers, and seat belts. It has a working power rear window. Has original glass washer bottle. All windows roll up and down including vents. Interior is original with some split seams. No headliner(but has bows). It has the original am radio in the dash with a new Kenwood cd/bluetooth radio under the dash with new 6x9's in the back. The 6x9's are in carpeted boxes between the 2nd and 3rd seat and not cut into the car. Gas tank was sent out and redone. Gas gauge works. Interior lights work(new pin switches). Glove box light works. All exterior lights work. (3) original T3 headlights. It runs and drives great! I just had it up in Lake George, NY at the Adirondack Nationals Car Show. I drove it about 150 miles over the weekend and everyone loved it. Cruises 60-70 mph no problem with my 5 kids and wife in it! Turns heads everywhere I go. I have the original bill of sale, invoice, owners manual, dealer brochure and jack instructions. I recently replaced the spare tire well/pan and it shows well. The original bias ply spare tire and rim is there along with the jack. The floor pans front and rear are good. There is one small hole in the rear of the driver's side pan under the carpet. The car is very solid but has some rot where the floor braces attach to the inner rockers, nothing too crazy. I fixed much worse on a 62 I had years ago. The braces are available at about $80 each aftermarket. The floors themselves are very solid as is though and there is nothing to worry about. I have been cruising it all summer with my kids with no issues. It's amazingly clean, straight and intact for its age. The wiring is all original, in good shape and unhacked. It has all trim intact and it is in decent shape. It has a new aluminum radiator(painted black to match original), new full, manifolds back dual exhaust, new shocks, new battery, new ignition switch, new high beam switch, new turn signal switch, new brakes, brake lines, and upgraded dual master cylinder.
It's a really cool car. Fun to cruise. Drive it anywhere. Family hot rod/rat rod. A true time capsule/barn find. You'll never find another one like it! Currently insured under Hagerty Collector Car Insurance for $15k and it only costs around $200 a year for full coverage!
If you love it there is a buy it now or feel free to place a bid and try your luck. There is a reserve but I may lift it if bidding is moving in the right direction, so bid early and bid often, you may just get it! Note: If you don't currently have the money in hand or don't plan on paying, please do not bid.
This is a turn key car! It does not need anything to cruise it or show it as is. Nice enough to get multiple thumbs up, aged enough to not have to worry about it getting scratched! I hate to sell it but I just found a 63 Impala wagon with a 409 and factory A/C to take it's place! Cash in hand talks! Please don't waste time messaging me with silly, low-ball offers. My new car has arrived and the wife wants this one out of here!
It is located in Malverne, New York(Long Island) 11565. I am not that far from NYC. I have access to a flatbed tow truck and can deliver(after payment is received/cleared) within +-250 miles of 11565 if we work something out. For anything further than that, I just used Rite Way Auto Transport to ship my new 63 wagon from North Carolina to NY(525 miles) and it was only $550 to give you an idea on cost. It's really easy to ship a car. You can get a quote at 1-877-688-8801.
Please feel free to come see it in person or ask for any pictures of anything you need to see. Call/text 917-509-0506 for more info. If you text me, I have video of the car that I can send you. If you are from out of the area and have an iphone I can face-time with you and go over the whole car live.
I also have a nice 63 Impala SS clone, Black on Black, 400SB dressed as a 327, 4spd, converted factory A/C car, all done for $26,500. Head turner. If you have garage space to fill maybe we can put together a package deal! Text me and I can send pictures of that too! I have to thin out my collection!
44 people watched it last time, I just lowered the reserve price. Who's buying themselves a cool new toy?
