Up for sale we have a1969 Chevy Camaro SS clone. It has undergone a full body on restoration where it was changed from Cortez Silver to Tuxedo Black. Also it has had a brake upgrade and vintage AC added. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Camaro. When you look down the sides it has straight panels with good fit. It has the cowl hood with front and rear spoilers. The body is covered in the Tuxedo Black Paint that's accented by the White Z Stripes. This is a factory vinyl top car that has been replaced with a new black top. The paint has a good slick finish with a good job being done in the jams inside the trunk. At the time of the restoration the bumpers were replaced as well as the other chrome. All the weather stripping around the doors and trunk was replaced as well as the roof rail seals. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 18" and 20" Billet Wheels.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the '69. On the inside it all looks like new with black houndstooth seats covers and the deluxe door panels. This Camaro has the console gauges along with the factory 5000 Red Line Tach in the dash. Also it has the tilt column with the Rose Wood Wheel. The dash has the woodgrain to match the console and the Vintage AC is controlled by the factory controls.
Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it's powered by the 350 V8 that's mated to a 350 Turbo Trans and a 12 Bolt Rear End. The engine is dressed with Aluminum Valve Covers and a Stock Style Air cleaner. The exhaust flows through stock manifolds and stock style dual exhaust. The vintage A/C fits well and was installed neatly. You'll also see that this '69 has been upgraded to Four Wheel Disc Brakes that are power and it also has Power Steering. When you look under this Camaro the floors pans look very good, clean, and solid.
