1984 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Additional Info:
I'm selling my 1984 Chevy Silverado 4x4 pick-up...
I bought this about 18 months ago after I gave my old truck to my son for graduation. The guy I bought this from restored it to improve looks/power to haul his 5th-wheel trailer, but the truck wasn't heavy enough to be stable while hauling that much weight, so he sold it to upgrade. Needless to say, he has done a lot of work (and I'm probably forgetting most of it here!) But check out the videos below and the pictures. They speak VOLUMES!
I'm sad to see it go but don't have room in my garage since getting my other project running. Also, I've only driven it a few times lately, so it's just not practical for me to keep it.
This truck is SO CLEAN, a sought-after body style with recent restoration, no rust or bondo. I listed with no reserve because these trucks are highly valued. I'm confident I will get what it's worth.
- Newer paint, including POR-15 undercarriage
- Built 400 engine, 350 turbo automatic transmission
- Dana front axle
- aluminum radiator w/ dual electric fan
- Lifted suspension
- over-size tires w/ rally wheels, vanity rings, center caps
- rear helper bags
- upgraded billet grill
- air horn
- LED headlights
- A/C hose and condenser*
- Linex Bed Liner (excellent condition)
- New Cargo Light assembly
- toolbox included
- aftermarket stereo
- rear bumper with integrated lights (turns on in reverse or with a switch in dash ashtray)
* A/C works but leaked when I first bought it. I have replaced everything but the seals, compressor, and dryer... so seals should be replaced before charging w/ freon again. Besides the A/C, my only complaint is that this truck is 'cold-blooded'... if it's been sitting for a little while, it's harder to start. But easy to start (see video) once warmed up.
This is a great looking truck and I've had so much fun driving it - lots of attention and compliments! Even won 3rd place in its division at the 2015 Mid West All Truck Nationals (see picture w/ trophy!) This award-winning truck has also been used a few times for hauling brush and furniture. It's both sexy and functional! Thanks for stopping by!
Buyer responsible for pick up or shipment of the truck upon purchase.
