Up for auction is this beautiful 1956 Chevrolet Wagon. I will give you a full description but first I want to say that this car isn't perfect, but it is a great driver. I have driven this car to Florida twice, Henderson North Carolina once, Somerset Kentucky twice for Somernites Cruise, Bowling Green Kentucky for Hot Rod Reunion and many shows around Indiana. This car has won MANY awards. This car is a great driver with a lot of room and very comfortable for those long trips. O.K., here are the particulars. 350CI Chevy Crate Motor. The motor has just over 6000 miles since installed it. 700R4 Transmission, 3:08 gears in the rear and it needs closer to 4:00 lower because with 3:08 it doesn't work like it should so I just drive it without overdrive and it does just fine (OD is on a switch). It also has TCI 2200 Stall which is recommended by Chevrolet performance with this engine package. I bought the engine complete with everything new GM and it was installed by the local Chevy Dealer. Dakota Digital Instruments, Electric Wipers with the intermittent feature, Electric Antenna.The radio doesn't work ($60 at Best Buy) because I don't care about it. New front inner and outer bearings, fresh rearend,with new bearings and seals. New front and rear brakes (power disc front, drum rear) new calipers, power steering with new updated steering box, Tinted windows, rear glass is new and all of the other windows are good, custom billet knobs and dash inserts. Nostalgia Vintage Air/heat (works good) and the best vents ever put on a vehicle. American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels 17" and new Firestone tires with a new spare in the back. MSD Electronic Distributor and MSD Coil with new Taylor SST Steel Braided Wires. Hayden Two Speed Electric fan, LED Tail Lights, New Wiring, Gas Shocks, Perfect Body Mounts and when the body shop stripped the car to paint it, the car has never had rust and has never been wrecked. The Blue color is 2012 Chevy Colorado and the white is White Diamonds which is a Cadillac color. I have the paint codes. Corvette steering wheel, Flaming River steering column, 3 point seat belts front, lap belts rear. The rear seat folds down and you have room in the back like a sedan delivery. All doors with locks, lock with the keys that come with the car. NO window or windshield leaks even during the worst storm.Comes with bra. This car is a driver and is not perfectly clean because I have 3 old cars and I run the wheels off of them. Whoever buys it can leave it in the garage if they want.
