Check out all the details and specifications on this Fastback and make your highest bid - this car will sell to the highest bidder. 1975 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe Pickup Star Trek This actual Chevrolet Pickup was used by Paramount Studios and starred in the Star Trek 4 Movie "The Voyage Home". It is the only earth vehicle used as transportation in the Star Trek Universe EVER! Signed by William Shatner himself! Documentation comes with the vehicle. This actual Chevrolet Custom Deluxe Pickup was used by Paramount Studios and starred in the Star Trek 4 Movie "The Voyage Home". It is complete exactly as it was filmed in the Movie with all the patina. It is the only earth vehicle ever used to transport anyone (obviously only spaceships and the USS Enterprise) in the Star Trek Universe! Signed by William Shatner (James T. Kirk) himself! Documentation comes with the vehicle. Captain Kirk rode in this vehicle with Spock (Leonard Nimoy) who passed away in February of this year. There were two Blue Chevrolet trucks in the Movie, ne for the City scenes and one for the Country scenes. They had slightly different grilles. This is the vehicle used in the City scenes and William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy personally rode in it. Shatner signed the glove box. The truck used in the Country scenes was destroyed leaving this one particular one the only one in existence. It was also used previously as a stand-in truck for Paramount Studios (for over 20 years) and played a role in many other movies. It has all the Original Patina from the movie exactly as it was filmed on set! In the Movie, t was owned by Dr. Gillian Taylor with the Sausalito Museum, ho assisted Captain Kirk and Spock in their quest to find Humpback whales. It still has the identical body patina, triping, umper stickers and decals as it was shot in the movie. This truck was recently displayed at the Hollywood Show in Burbank, alifornia with William Shatner present and signed autographs and took photos with this Celebrity truck! It was Stored and Displayed for some time at the Volo Museum in Illnois and comes with a certificate of authenticity. This truck was on display and featured in many locations as an attraction bringing in all sorts of public and press attention. It comes with a beautiful framed Presentation Board with photos of this car along with William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy's signatures! Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home was an excellent film. Cast in 1986 American science fiction epic released by Paramount Pictures It is the fourth feature film based on Star Trek, nd is a sequel to Star Trek II The Search For Spoke (1984). Returning home to Earth to face trial for their actions in the previous films, he former crew of the USS Enterprise finds the planet in grave danger from an alien probe attempting to contact now-extinct humpback whales The crew travel to Earth's past to find whales who can answer the probe's call. Hearing Starfleet's warning, pock determines that the probe's signal matches the song of extinct whales and that the object will continue to wreak havoc until its call is answered. The crew uses their ship to travel back in time via a slingshot manouver around the sun, lanning to return with a whale to answer the alien signal. Arriving in 1986, he crew finds their ship's power drained. Hiding their ship in Sanfrans Golden Get park using its cloaking device, he crew split up to accomplish several tasks: Admiral James T Kirk and Spock attempt to locate humpback whales. Kirk and Spock discover a pair of whales in the care of Dr. Gillian Taylor at a Sausalito museum, nd learn they will soon be released into the wild. Kirk tells her of his mission and asks for the tracking frequency for the whales, ut she refuses to cooperate. Taylor learns the whales have been released early, nd goes to Kirk for assistance. Taylor, irk, nd McCoy rescue Chekov and return to the now-recharged Bird-of-Prey. After transporting the whales aboard the ship, he crew returns with Taylor to their own time. On approaching Earth, he ship loses power and comes down in San Francisco Bay Once released, he whales respond to the probe's signal, ausing the object to reverse its effects on Earth and return to the depths of space. All charges against the Enterprise crew are dropped, ave one; as punishment for disobeying a superior officer, irk is demoted to the rank of Captain. The crew departs on their ship, he newly christened USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-A), nd leaves on a new mission. It was financially successful, arning $133million worldwide. The film earned several awards and four Academy Awards nominations for its cinematography and audio
