Here is your opportunity to own a true and unique collector car. This is THE CAR, and the ONLY 69 Pace Car used in the movie and driven by Drew Barrymore.
Not really sure what this car is worth, but let’s give it a start and let’s see what it will do here on eBay.
Comes with The Certificate of Authenticity from Columbia Pictures. The certificate states..."This authentic 1969 Convertible was driven by the character "Dylan", played by Drew Barrymore, in the Columbia Pictures film "Charlie's Angels"...
It also comes with a copy of the California Title when it was titled in Columbia Pictures in California complete with the matching VIN.

True Z11 Camaro Pace Car with what is supposed to be its matching number 350/300 horsepower engine 350 turbo transmission and original12 bolt rear end. I do not have any paperwork to guarantee that, so keep that in mind.

This is THE car from the remake Charlies Angels movie in 2000. The car was driven in the movie by Drew Barrymore who played Dylan.
After filming the movie, the car was moved to Tennessee in November 2000 and put in The Hollywood Star Cars Museum in Gatlinburg for the last 18 years. It was a feature car and was pushed outside almost every day as a store front display. It was also used in occasional Christmas parades in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to promote the Museum.
The car is in amazing condition given the fact that it was the feature car for the museum and although it was roped off most of the time on display, for $10 you could sit in it and get your picture taken. So after 18 years of photo opportunities, the seats were a bit worn, so they were removed and received fresh factory style Orange Houndstooth upholstery and seat foam to get them back to more like they would have been in the original condition in 1969. Also note, in the movie, they did not use the headrests so they could get better film footage. The headrests are now back to the originals tyle. We also installed new carpet.
It was recently retired from the museum and freshened up again to put back on the street. The only reason it was pulled out was that they needed to make room for the Ford vs Ferrari GT 40 movie car to go in itsplace.
Since coming out, the car has had a lot of maintenance and updates to make it a great driver and a car that you can enjoy! Some recent work includes all new battery, all fluids, new starter, new electronic distributor(still had the points), new radiator, new gas tank, new power Convertible Top, new houndstooth upholstery. New console, new carpet, new sun visors.
In addition, we went through it all mechanically to make sure it would be a good driver car. At the present time, the car does still retain its Goodyear Wingfoot HP radials that were on it in the movie. If you plan to drive it beyond parades or displays, I would suggest replacing the tires due to age. We also replaced the old aftermarket stereo with a New RestroSound Bluetooth stereo and a new in dash dual stereo speaker.
The car was just professionally detailed by North Atlanta Custom Detail in Gainesville, GA. They did a 3 step paint correction process as well as removed the museum decals from the quarter panels. The car looks outstanding!!!
Here is a brief description from the Star Cars Museum website:
“So more about the car, it is a true 1969 Z11 Pace Car, although it’s not “THE PACE CAR” from The Indy 500, it is one of these original Z11 Pace Car Replicas made for the Indy 500 in 1969.
An excerpt from a Hemmings article in their May 2013 issue includes… “ To give 1969 Camaro buyers their chance to roll like an Indy 500 champ, RPO Z11 was whipped up to make a convertible Camaro look like it just rolled out of the winner's circle.
The 1969 Camaro Indy Sport Convertible Option for Chevrolet SS/Rally Sport production cars included paint, graphics and interior identical to the pace cars used at Indy, as well as the "cowl induction" air induction hood and rally wheels. The privilege of owning a1969 Camaro pace car replica came with a relatively high price tag at $3,405 for a base model.
To make the resemblance even closer to some of the cars used at Indy, Chevrolet recommended piling on extra-cost options such as a Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission, Positraction, power steering, a power top, a console with special instrumentation, an AM radio, front and rear spoilers, a sport styled steering wheel, custom deluxe seat and front shoulder belts, and Soft-Ray tinted glass.
Though Chevrolet hoped to build one for each of its dealers, approximately 6,400, there were actually 3,675 1969 Camaro pace car replicas built.”
The car is an April, 3rd week build which correlates with Chevrolet building the pace cars prior to the upcoming Indy 500 May 30, 1969.
Description
Here is more detailed information:
The car is a very solid, very clean original styled 1969 Camaro with the only visible modifications being the RetroSound stereo..
The car is very clean and in very good condition.
It’s a good looking car perfect for cruising and enjoying! I would not say this is a show car. The engine bay is original styled with no mods there at all. The paint is very shiny, but does have minor chips here and there and a couple of paint imperfections and some pretty deep scratches on the back quarters from being on display in the museum all those years.
