I bought this truck back when I thought I would have more time to dedicate fixing it up. I am a classic car enthusiast myself and have spent sometime caring for this truck along the way. I had plans to restore it myself however am I looking to start some other projects instead. This is a perfect buy for those who "know classic cars" and enjoy restoring or rebuilding them. PARTS THAT ARE PRESENT ARE ORIGINAL TO 1946 CHEVROLET AND CANNOT BE PURCHASED THROUGH CATALOG. Original transmission and engine, as well as the 6-volt electrical system. With new 6V battery and repaired radiator/heating coil, the ignition will start, you would to purchase a new key which can be found in catalog; Has not been started recently. The truck is 20% disassembled: the fender, the front grill, seats and gas tank has been removed and cleaned, the flat bed has been removed (included with sale 2 unbolted beds, one is period correct factory chevy model and the other is a flat bed from the previous owner), the entire truck is solid from that point. Very low-original miles. Pictures show disassembled parts and newly purchased calipers, the interior and exterior of the truck. Only surface rust and only area it penetrates through is the floorboard.
